and i’m the happiest i’ve ever been. i miss my friends from home alot but this is the best thing i could have ever done. i love it here. 

The key is to stay in touch with the people back home, but not to lose yourself in missing them. Talk to them every once in a while, but don’t let that overshadow your time abroad. Throw yourself into this new culture you have the privilege of experiencing. This may be the only chance you get to do some things, so don’t let homesickness slow you down. The people at home will always be there for you, so recognize that and don’t waste your trip!
